ALUMNAE
The Alumnae Association was revived in 1995 through the efforts of Dr. (Sr.) Flavia fmm and her dedicated team, under the guidance of the then Principal Dr. Sr. Annama Philip. Today the Alumnae Association is vibrant and active and includes a Kerala Chapter, a Bangalore Chapter and is envisaging a new Madurai Chapter. Alumnae ensure continued contact with the College and facilitate creative involvement in the progress and activities of the College. This leads to reviving contacts so as to enable our dream of building new chapters within India and abroad.
The members meet regularly during the academic year and celebrate important festivals. They look forward to participating in the Christmas programme at the end of each year, enthusiastically join in the Carol singing and enjoy the fun of the Christmas get-together. Apart from this we focus on sharing Christmas joy with the less fortunate, children and the aged.
‘Kalanjiyam’, a forum for discussion and interaction on areas of interest has also been formed and serves as a platform for speakers from a wide range of fields. More often than not, experts include well known public figures from among our alumnae members.
The Career Guidance Cell of the College is administered by Alumnae members on a voluntary basis. It is dedicated to providing quality training and career development programmes for the students of the College. The campus recruitment process in the College is handled by Alumnae members.
