Research articles should be 6000-8000 words long and book reviews between 350 and 400 words long. All articles will be checked for plagiarism on URKUND as soon as they are received.

SAMUDRA will not solicit book reviews. Reviewers are requested to choose books that have not been published two years prior to the review. The following guidelines need to be followed for citation and formatting of book reviews:
- * Book Title, Author/Editor Name, Publisher, Year of Publication, ISBN: 000-0-00-000000- 0, Number of Pages, Price * Where references are made in the body of the text to quotations from the book under review, please indicate relevant page numbers in round brackets within the text (for example, p. 116), preferably at the end of the quotation or sentence.
