The club was officially flagged off on 17 October 2018. Dr. Sr. Rosy Joseph, fmm, Principal, Stella Maris College unveiled the Logo for the Club. Prior to this, ground work had been carried out by Faculty advisors, student ambassadors and student volunteers. Guidance has been provided by the UNICEF representatives, Faculty advisorsand representatives from Non-Government Organizations like Thozhamai. A Counter on Campus, for registering volunteers and members enables reporting and gaining awareness.

The Club's motto is Voice for the Voiceless. To create awareness about Child right issues through awareness programmes in order to bring about change in society is the major goal.

Its objectives are to involve youth / students (in exhibitions, talks, support programmes); organise awareness campaigns (in schools and colleges); focus on semester goals: child labour, sexual abuse, education; andprepare to handle life situations (in schools).

  10. Celebrating International days with respect to children
